A simple guide to Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, and more—so you can book the session that fits how you feel today.
Walking into a massage studio should feel easy, not like a quiz. The right treatment is usually the one that matches how your body feels today—not a label you have to get perfect.
Swedish massage is the most requested starting point. Slow, flowing strokes help muscles unclench and give your nervous system a chance to settle. If you are new to massage, or you just want an hour of quiet, this is a calm place to begin.
Deep tissue is a better fit when tension has been sitting in the same places for a while—shoulders from a desk, low back after travel, or calves after a long week on your feet. Tell your therapist where it lives and how much pressure you prefer. More pressure is not automatically better; the useful amount is the amount you can breathe through.
Thai massage and Lomi Lomi offer a different rhythm. Thai work uses stretches and longer lines of movement. Lomi Lomi uses broad, wave-like strokes that many guests describe as both grounding and spacious. Lymphatic sessions and foot treatments are available when you want something lighter or more focused.
If you are still unsure, say so when you book or when you arrive. We can help you choose in the room. Walk-ins are welcome when a table is free, and we are open daily from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM at 13802 N Scottsdale Rd, Suite 173.
